Fellowship in Vitreo Retinal Surgery (FVRS)

1. Completion of an Ophthalmology residency program.
2. Applicants must be United States or Canadian citizens, or United States permanent residents.
3. Applicants must meet the institutional and licensing requirements necessary to participate in clinical and surgical training.

The Vitreoretinal Surgery Fellowship at the Keck School of Medicine of USC provides advanced medical and surgical training in the management of vitreoretinal disorders. Fellows gain hands-on experience in vitreoretinal surgery, retinal detachment repair, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, ocular trauma, pediatric retinal diseases, retinal imaging, and other complex retinal conditions, along with opportunities for teaching and clinical research.
