The Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery Fellowship at UMass Chan Medical School is a 3-year advanced fellowship focused on comprehensive management of female pelvic floor disorders. The program provides training in vaginal, laparoscopic, robotic and open abdominal surgery, as well as non-surgical management such as pessary use, behavioral interventions and pelvic floor physical therapy. Fellows also receive multidisciplinary exposure through collaboration with urology and colorectal surgery, participate in weekly continuity clinics, didactic teaching and simulation-based education, and receive 12 months of dedicated research time during the fellowship. Opportunities are also available to pursue a Master’s in Clinical Investigation or Master’s in Public Health during the fellowship.
