The Transplant Nephrology Fellowship is a 1-year advanced clinical fellowship that provides specialized training in kidney and kidney-pancreas transplantation. Fellows gain extensive experience in the evaluation and management of transplant recipients and living donors, immunosuppressive therapy, transplant-related infections, graft dysfunction, organ procurement, and post-transplant care. Training includes inpatient and outpatient rotations, multidisciplinary transplant conferences, research, and teaching opportunities. Fellows also participate in kidney transplant selection committees, quality improvement initiatives, and scholarly activities, preparing them for careers in transplant nephrology and academic medicine.
