The Transplant Nephrology Fellowship at Keck School of Medicine of USC is a one-year AST-accredited advanced fellowship designed for nephrology graduates seeking specialized training in all aspects of kidney transplantation. The program provides comprehensive clinical exposure to transplant immunology, histocompatibility and immune monitoring, immunosuppressive therapies, kidney allocation, living-donor transplantation, transplant candidate evaluation, surgical complications, rejection, infections, transplant pathology, and complex transplant cases. Fellows receive six months of inpatient training at Keck Medical Center of USC and six months of outpatient training at the Los Angeles–Norris Healthcare Center, along with multidisciplinary conferences, medical education, quality improvement, and opportunities for transplant-related research and scholarly activities.
