-
The Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center provides advanced training in the management of critically ill surgical and trauma patients. Fellows gain comprehensive experience in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit, caring for patients with complex surgical conditions, traumatic injuries, severe infections, shock, respiratory failure, and multiple organ dysfunction. The program provides hands-on training in critical care procedures, resuscitation, hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and multidisciplinary patient care. Fellows also receive exposure to emergency general surgery and trauma care as part of the broader acute care surgery environment. The fellowship is designed to develop advanced clinical, procedural, and decision-making skills for the management of critically ill surgical patients.
