Fellowship in Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology

The one-year Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship provides advanced clinical and surgical training in the evaluation and management of pediatric ear, nose, throat, airway, hearing, swallowing, and head and neck disorders. Fellows gain experience in outpatient clinics, inpatient care, operating-room procedures, emergency consultations, and multidisciplinary pediatric services. The program also emphasizes clinical research, teaching, scholarly activities, and progressive surgical independence, with fellows completing at least one research project under faculty mentorship.

1. The program participates in the San Francisco Matching Program
2. Recruitment is also conducted through the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology (ASPO) unified application process
3. Applications are accepted from September through February
4. Two PGY-6 fellowship positions are offered
5. Submit the application along with 3 letters of recommendation
6. Applications are reviewed by the Program Director and Associate Program Director
7. Selected candidates are invited for interviews, followed by applicant ranking and faculty selection
8. Matched fellows complete 100% of their training at Children’s Hospital Colorado under pediatric otolaryngology faculty supervision
