The Pediatric Otolaryngology Fellowship at UCSF is a one-year advanced clinical fellowship providing comprehensive training in the diagnosis and surgical management of pediatric ear, nose, throat, airway, head and neck conditions. Fellows gain extensive experience in pediatric airway surgery, otology and cochlear implantation, pediatric head and neck tumors, sleep surgery, voice and velopharyngeal insufficiency (VPI), endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery, and vascular anomalies. Training is conducted at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals in San Francisco and Oakland, with exposure to multidisciplinary clinics and services including craniofacial, aerodigestive, tracheostomy, and hearing and communication programs. The fellowship also emphasizes inpatient and outpatient care, operative training, teaching, research, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary case conferences.
