The Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery Fellowship is a one-year ACGME- and POSNA-accredited fellowship at Children’s Hospital Colorado, providing comprehensive training across the full spectrum of pediatric orthopedic surgery. Fellows manage conditions including clubfoot, developmental hip dysplasia, scoliosis and kyphosis, congenital spine deformities, limb deformities, fractures and trauma, orthopedic oncology, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, spina bifida, and pediatric sports medicine. The program offers a high-volume clinical experience with approximately 550–600 cases per fellow annually, structured daily didactics, surgical simulation, flexible elective rotations, and extensive research opportunities. Fellows also participate in resident education and are expected to complete a research project suitable for publication in a pediatric orthopedic journal.
