The Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship Program at the University of Minnesota Medical School is a 2-year fellowship providing advanced training in the comprehensive care of hospitalized infants, children, and adolescents. Fellows gain clinical experience across M Health Fairview Masonic Children’s Hospital, Children’s Minnesota, and a community hospital, with training in acute and acute-on-chronic conditions, Level I and II nursery care, sedation services, and common hospitalist procedures. The program also emphasizes research, medical education, quality improvement, patient safety, global health, advocacy, and hospital administration, preparing fellows for clinical, academic, and hospital leadership careers.
