The Pediatric Endocrinology Fellowship at the University of Minnesota Medical School provides advanced training in the diagnosis and management of endocrine and metabolic disorders in infants, children, and adolescents. The program combines comprehensive clinical training, teaching, and research, covering conditions such as diabetes, growth and puberty disorders, thyroid and adrenal diseases, pituitary disorders, disorders of sex development, bone and mineral disorders, obesity, and metabolic conditions. Fellows gain experience in inpatient consultations, outpatient endocrinology and diabetes clinics, and specialized clinics, while also developing research skills through clinical, translational, or basic-science research opportunities.
