The Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) is a three-year program providing advanced training in the evaluation and management of acutely ill and injured children. Fellows receive clinical experience primarily at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, including exposure to high-acuity pediatric emergencies, trauma, resuscitation, and a broad range of emergency procedures. Training also includes pediatric emergency ultrasound, simulation, teaching, research, quality improvement, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The program prepares fellows for careers in academic and clinical Pediatric Emergency Medicine through comprehensive patient care, structured education, scholarly activities, and leadership development.
