MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree.
Completion of a 4-year accredited postgraduate medical education program in Anesthesiology.
Must meet Cedars-Sinai's institutional GME eligibility requirements. International graduates must have graduated from a medical school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools and meet ECFMG certification or applicable U.S. licensure requirements.

About Course

The Pain Medicine Anesthesiology Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is a one-year advanced clinical fellowship designed to provide comprehensive training in the evaluation and management of acute and chronic pain. Fellows develop advanced clinical skills in pain medicine while gaining exposure to multidisciplinary pain management, research, teaching, and patient care. The program includes structured clinical and educational experiences and opportunities to develop expertise in interventional and comprehensive pain management.

Admission Process

Complete the required Anesthesiology residency/postgraduate training.
Prepare the ERAS application, CV, personal statement, examination records and recommendation letters.
Submit the application through ERAS.
The fellowship selection committee reviews eligible applications.
Shortlisted candidates are invited for an interview; the current program listing indicates virtual interviews.
Participate in the applicable NRMP fellowship match process.
Selected candidates complete Cedars-Sinai credentialing, licensing and GME onboarding requirements.
Begin the 1-year Pain Medicine Fellowship.
