Fellowship in Pain Medicine

1. Must be eligible for a California medical license.
2. Must have completed an ACGME-approved residency in one of the following specialties:
3. Anesthesiology
4. Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
5. Neurology
6. Psychiatry
7. Must provide a DEA number as part of the application.

The Pain Medicine Fellowship is an ACGME-accredited one-year fellowship providing multidisciplinary training in interventional pain management, acute and chronic pain management, and cancer/palliative medicine. Fellows train across the USC Pain Center, Keck Medical Center, USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, Los Angeles General Medical Center, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, with additional exposure to radiology, neurosurgery, orthopaedic surgery, neurology/headache, and rheumatology. 

1. Register for the NRMP Match.
2. Complete the Pain Medicine Fellowship application through ERAS.
3. Submit 3 letters of reference.
4. Submit a personal statement.
5. Submit an updated CV.
6. Provide a DEA number.
7. Selected applicants are invited for interviews, which are conducted in June and July.
8. The three fellowship positions are awarded through the NRMP Match.
