The General Nephrology Fellowship at Keck School of Medicine of USC is a two-year ACGME-accredited clinical fellowship designed to provide comprehensive training in the diagnosis and management of renal disorders and prepare fellows for careers in academic or community-based nephrology practice. Training includes inpatient and outpatient nephrology, acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, glomerular diseases, acid-base and electrolyte disorders, critical-care nephrology, dialysis, kidney transplantation, onco-nephrology, and renal disorders in pregnancy. Fellows also gain hands-on experience in procedures such as kidney biopsies and hemodialysis catheter placement, along with protected research time and participation in clinical conferences, journal clubs, and board-review sessions.
