Fellowship in Glaucoma

The Glaucoma Fellowship at the USC Roski Eye Institute is a one-year AUPO FCC-compliant fellowship offering advanced clinical and surgical training in the management of complex glaucoma. Fellows gain experience in USC glaucoma clinics and Los Angeles General Medical Center, managing a broad range of glaucoma conditions under direct faculty supervision. Surgical training includes trabeculectomy, glaucoma drainage devices, minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS), cyclophotocoagulation, and XEN, along with opportunities for research in AI, telemedicine, ocular imaging, epidemiology, big data, and surgical outcomes.

1. Apply through SF Match.
2. Submit the required application documents through SF Match, including the SF Match common application, medical school transcript, and personal statement.
3. IMG applicants must provide ECFMG certification and the required California medical-license eligibility documentation.
4. The fellowship program reviews applications and selects candidates for interview.
5. Attend the interview in Los Angeles.
6. Final selection is completed through the SF Match process.
