Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology

The Gastroenterology & Hepatology Fellowship at Keck School of Medicine of USC is a three-year ACGME-accredited fellowship providing comprehensive training in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic gastrointestinal and liver diseases. Fellows receive hands-on experience in inpatient and outpatient GI/hepatology care, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, advanced endoscopy, liver transplantation, and hepatology, along with protected time for clinical, translational, or basic research. Training takes place across USC-affiliated hospitals, including Los Angeles General Medical Center and Keck Hospital of USC.

8. 3 letters of recommendation, including one from the current Internal Medicine Program Director.
3. Register and apply through the NRMP Gastroenterology Fellowship Match.
4. Applications are reviewed by the fellowship program.
5. Selected applicants are contacted for an interview.
6. USC typically conducts 4–6 interview sessions from September to October.
7. Final positions are offered through the NRMP Match.
