The Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC) is a one-year advanced training program focused on developing neurologists with expertise in clinical neurophysiology. UTHSC is a public academic health science institution focused on medical education, healthcare, research, and professional training, with clinical education provided through affiliated hospitals and healthcare facilities. The fellowship provides training in electrophysiological testing, including Electromyography and Electroencephalography, and in the diagnosis and management of neuromuscular disorders, epilepsy, sleep disorders, and dysautonomias. Fellows also receive supervised clinical experience, participate in educational conferences, and develop skills in patient care, teaching, research, and independent interpretation of neurophysiological tests.
