Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology

1. Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent medical degree.
2. Completion of the required prior postgraduate training in Neurology or a related qualifying specialty before starting the fellowship.
3. Applicants from international medical schools must graduate from a school listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS) and have current Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification or the required unrestricted United States medical licensure.
4. Meet Cedars-Sinai Graduate Medical Education and specialty-specific eligibility requirements.
5. Be eligible to obtain the medical licensure and credentialing required for clinical training in California.
6. Demonstrated academic or clinical interest in clinical neurophysiology, including electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction studies, and related diagnostic techniques.

The Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center provides advanced training in the evaluation and diagnosis of neurological disorders using clinical neurophysiological techniques. The program offers exposure to electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction studies, and other electrophysiological assessments, with opportunities to evaluate patients with epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, peripheral neuropathies, and related neurological conditions. Fellows also have opportunities to participate in clinical research and academic activities within the Cedars-Sinai Neurology department.

1. Complete the required medical degree and prior postgraduate Neurology training before the fellowship start date.
2. Prepare the fellowship application materials, including curriculum vitae, personal statement, educational records, and recommendation letters as required by the program.
3. Submit the application through the application process specified by the Cedars-Sinai Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship.
4. The fellowship program reviews applicants' clinical training, academic background, research interests, and overall suitability.
5. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview with the program faculty.
6. Selected candidates must complete Cedars-Sinai credentialing, licensing, and Graduate Medical Education onboarding requirements before starting the fellowship.
