Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology

1. Completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)-accredited internship in Medicine.
2. Completion of a Neurology residency program.
3. Must be eligible to obtain a California medical license.
4. Applicants with a J-1 visa may be considered if they meet the program requirements.
5. Applicants are invited to apply during their Postgraduate Year 3 (PGY-3) year.
6. Application must include a personal statement, curriculum vitae, and three letters of recommendation.

The Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center is a one-year program providing advanced training in electroencephalography, electromyography and nerve conduction studies, and other clinical neurophysiology techniques. Fellows gain supervised experience in epilepsy, neuromuscular disorders, myasthenia, and botulinum toxin clinics. Training also includes epilepsy monitoring, sleep medicine, intraoperative monitoring, evoked potentials, waveform interpretation, journal clubs, and multidisciplinary teaching. The program provides broad clinical exposure and prepares fellows for independent practice in clinical neurophysiology.
