The Cardiothoracic Imaging Fellowship at UCSF School of Medicine provides advanced training in cardiac and pulmonary imaging, including cardiovascular MRI/MRA, coronary CT angiography, chest CT, high-resolution CT, PET/CT, and CT-guided lung biopsy techniques. Fellows gain experience with complex cardiac conditions such as congenital heart disease and cardiomyopathies, as well as pulmonary conditions including interstitial lung disease and thoracic oncology. The program also includes multidisciplinary conferences, procedural training, resident teaching, research opportunities, and protected academic time, preparing fellows for careers in academic or private-practice cardiothoracic imaging.
