The Cytopathology Fellowship at the University of Minnesota is a one-year ACGME-accredited training program conducted at the University of Minnesota Medical Center and Hennepin County Medical Center. The program provides comprehensive training in gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology, fine-needle aspiration (FNA), specimen preparation and triage, rapid on-site evaluation, ancillary testing, and diagnostic interpretation. Fellows also participate in clinical conferences, multidisciplinary consultations, teaching of residents and cytotechnology students, and research or academic projects, with opportunities to present work at national conferences.
