Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)

• Candidates need to have qualified two year Pre-University (10+2) examination with PASS percentage and studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as principle subjects from a recognized educational Board.
• The vocational higher secondary education course conducted by vocational higher secondary education, Govt. of Kerala with five subjects including Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English in addition to vocational subjects conducted is considered equivalent to plus TWO examinations of Govt. of Karnataka Pre University Course.
• Eligibility for admission is as per RGUHS norms as amended from time to time.

These professionals are trained to gain hands on skill to perform various biochemical, hematological, immunological, microscopic, bacteriological diagnostic analysis on body fluids such as blood, urine, sputum, stool, cerebrospinal fluids, peritoneal specimen fluid, pericardial fluid and synovial fluid and other. These professionals have lot of opportunities to work in biotechnology labs, referral labs, clinic and general / corporate hospitals.

Duration:- 3 ½ years including 6 months of internship.
