Eligibility Criteria

Indian national, ≥ 17 years old by admission year
Passed 10+2 with PCB and English, individually, with ≥45% aggregate
Medically fit (color vision, physical fitness)
Lateral entry available into 2nd year for diploma holders in MLT (if from recognized boards), through RGUHS policies

About Course

This comprehensive program blends in-depth theoretical instruction and practical training in core medical laboratory disciplines—biochem, microbiology, pathology, hematology, immunology—and essential soft and technical skills like equipment maintenance, quality control, and lab safety. Over three academic years, students develop proficiency through theory-based learning and hands-on lab work; the internship year refines real-world laboratory skills. Upon completion, graduates are equipped to serve as lab technologists in hospitals, diagnostic centers, research labs, and blood banks.
