Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Operation Theatre & Anaesthesia Technology (OTAT)

This four‑year program (3 academic years + 1-year internship) provides comprehensive training in anesthesia support and OT technology. Students study foundational sciences (Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry), anesthesia principles, OT techniques, pharmacology, monitoring technologies, infection control, and emergency procedures. The final year is a hands-on internship rotating through operating theatres, anesthesia units, ICU, and pre/post-operative care at Bharati Hospital. Graduates emerge well-prepared to work as anesthesia technologists, OT technicians, ICU assistants, or pursue higher-level roles like perfusionists and OTs coordinators.

Pass 10+2 with PCB & English (≥50%)

Minimum age: 17 years

Admission is merit-based, via the BVU’s Allied Health Sciences entrance (CET) or based on qualifying exam scores
