- Pass 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology + English.
- Secure valid NEET UG score.
- Minimum age: 17 years by 31 December of the admission year.
- For reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC), respective reservation & qualifying criteria apply as per NMC / state policies.

Admission Process:
- Complete 10+2 (or equivalent) with required subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) + English, and meet minimum age requirement (17 years).
- Appear for NEET UG and secure a valid score.
- Participate in the counselling process (state quota counselling via Karnataka Examinations Authority — KEA for Karnataka, or all-India quota via Medical Counselling Committee) as applicable.
- If allotted a seat at BMCH, complete admission formalities — document verification, fee payment, registration/enrolment.
- Begin the 4.5-year academic program, followed by the 1-year mandatory internship.
