Overview

Dhubri Medical College & Hospital, established in 2022, is one of the newest medical institutions in Assam under the Directorate of Medical Education, Government of Assam. The college offers an annual intake of 100 MBBS students, focusing on providing quality medical education and healthcare services in the region. Equipped with modern laboratories, lecture halls, a central library, and a multi-specialty teaching hospital, it aims to develop competent, ethical, and community-oriented healthcare professionals. The institution plays a crucial role in bridging the gap in medical education and healthcare accessibility in the western Assam region, particularly near the India-Bangladesh border. Its vision is to serve both as a hub of academic excellence and as a center for affordable, patient-centered medical services.

Eligibility

• Must have completed 10+2 (PCB + English) with minimum qualifying marks (as per NMC norms).
• Must have qualified in the NEET-UG examination.
• Must meet age requirements: 17 years minimum (on or before 31st December of admission year).
• Fulfill all state and national counseling guidelines for admission.
