Overview

Nootan Medical College & Research Centre, Visnagar, is a private medical institution established in 2016/2019 (Permission for MBBS from 2019) and affiliated to Sankalchand Patel University. The campus is spread over a large area, with well-equipped infrastructure including lecture theatres, laboratories, clinical skill labs, a large teaching hospital (Nootan General Hospital) with multiple specialty & super-specialty departments. The MBBS programme is designed to provide both theoretical foundation and extensive hands-on training via clinical postings and internship in the hospital, ensuring practical experience in patient care. The institution follows the curriculum as prescribed by the National Medical Commission, emphasizing early clinical exposure, community medicine, and a balance between pre-clinical, para-clinical and clinical subjects. Students have access to hostel accommodations, library, sports, labs, and other facilities necessary for a medical education.

Eligibility

• Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English. 
• Must meet the minimum aggregate marks in PCB as required (varies by category). 
• Must have qualified in NEET-UG. 
• Must satisfy the age criterion (17 years by 31st December of admission year) 
• Other documents: 10th & 12th mark sheets; NEET score; migration/certificate if applicable; caste/domicile certificate for state quota.
