The Anesthesiology Residency Program at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is a four-year training program that provides comprehensive clinical and academic education in anesthesiology. Residents receive progressive hands-on experience in perioperative medicine, critical care, pain management, regional anesthesia, cardiothoracic anesthesia, obstetric anesthesia and other specialized areas. Training includes simulation-based learning, didactic sessions, clinical conferences, research and scholarly activities, and exposure to complex cases at a major academic medical center and Level I trauma center. The program prepares residents for independent clinical practice and further subspecialty fellowship training.
