Sports Medicine Fellowship

1. Applicants should have completed an Orthopaedic Surgery residency.
2. The fellowship is designed for candidates pursuing advanced training as sports medicine orthopaedic surgeons and team physicians.
3. The program is ACGME-accredited and follows the selection policies of SF Match and AOSSM.

The Sports Medicine Fellowship at Keck School of Medicine of USC is a one-year clinical fellowship focused on advanced operative and non-operative management of athletic injuries involving the shoulder, knee, elbow, hip, and foot/ankle. Fellows gain hands-on experience in sports procedures, athlete rehabilitation and return-to-sport care, on-field management, and physician team coverage for USC Trojans athletes and the Los Angeles Kings. The program also includes weekly conferences, MRI correlation, arthroscopy teaching, and research opportunities.

1. Apply through the San Francisco Matching Program (SF Match).
2. Submit the fellowship application by November 1 each year.
3. Selected applicants are invited for interviews, which are held in February.
4. The program accepts 2 fellows per year through the SF Match.
