Shri C B Guttal Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital (CBGAMC), Dharwad

With an intention to serve the needy ailing people of the society and to promote the proven ancient Indian system of medicine, Ayurveda, Dakshina Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Dharwad, established Ayurvedic Medical college and hospital in the name of late Shri C.B.Guttal. Shri C.B.Guttal Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital, Dharwad got permissions of Government of Karnataka and Department of Ayush, New Delhi to provide the BAMS(Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) course in the year 2004, with an intake capacity of 50 students per year. The institute has a vision to recognize the health needs of the community, carry out professional obligations ethically and equitably while complying with National Health policies. Thus enabling the mankind to live the full span of life in peaceful, purposeful, moral, ethical and physically healthy conditions. All these are possible through their motto - Right for rightful health sciences education. Shri C.B.Guttal Ayurvedic Medical College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), Bengaluru, Karnataka. The institute is recognised for admissions by Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), New-Delhi and approved by Dept. of AYUSH, New Delhi.
