The Pediatric Primary Care Residency Program at UNC School of Medicine (UNCSOM), Chapel Hill is a specialized pediatric residency training pathway focused on preparing physicians for careers in comprehensive primary care pediatrics. The program emphasizes preventive healthcare, child development, wellness visits, chronic disease management, behavioral health, and family-centered care for infants, children, and adolescents. Residents receive broad clinical exposure through outpatient pediatric clinics, inpatient pediatrics, newborn care, emergency services, and pediatric subspecialty rotations.
