Eligibility

  1. Graduates from accredited medical schools (MD or DO)
  2. Passed USMLE Step 1 and Step 2 (or COMLEX equivalents)
  3. Eligible to enter residency training in the U.S.
  4. Must use ERAS for application and NRMP match participation
  5. Visa requirements such as J-1 may apply for international graduates
  6. Candidates must meet all institutional credentialing standards

Admission Process:

  1. Prepare Application through ERAS – Applicants must compile all required documents in the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).
  2. Submit through ERAS by Deadline – Completed applications are submitted to the Internal Medicine program.
  3. NRMP Match Registration – Register with the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) for the match cycle.
  4. Interview Invitation – Shortlisted applicants receive interview invitations, conducted in person or virtually.
  5. Interview Evaluation – Program faculty evaluate candidates based on academics, clinical experiences, and interpersonal skills.
  6. Rank Order List Submission – Applicants and programs submit rank lists to NRMP.
  7. Match Results – Match results are released, and successful candidates receive formal offers to join the residency.
