Pt. Khushilal Sharma Government Ayurved College and Institute, Bhopal

Pt. Khushilal Sharma Government (Autonomous) Ayurveda College and Institute Bhopal was established by Government of Madhya Pradesh in the name of late Pt. Khushilal Sharma a leading Ayurvedic Physician and father of the Hon. Former President of India Late Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma in the Year 1995. The college is affiliated to Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur, it is approved by Ministry of AYUSH, New Delhi and the college is approved by Central Council of Indian Medicine. The college also has an Hospital.

Facilities:

Library: Institute has its own central library. Library has good collection (approx. 12400) of books on Ayurveda as well on Modern Medicine. The books are classified into General/Text books and Reference Books.

Hostel Facility: Two separate hostels for boys & girls are available located in Nehru Nagar & Dhanwantari Parishar respectively just few km. from the Institute.

Herbal Garden: With the centrally sponsored scheme of department of AYUSH, Institute has established a medicinal plant garden in the 5 acres of land; where in about 260 species of medicinal plants have been grown and preserved. It is attached with the department of Dravyaguna. Total no. of plants in herbal garden is 800 Approx.
