MD (Ayurveda) in Dravya Guna

• Candidate must have completed BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized university/institution.
• Candidate must have completed the compulsory internship as per applicable NCISM guidelines.

The MD (Ayurveda) in Dravya Guna Vigyana is a 3-year postgraduate Ayurveda program focused on the advanced study of Ayurvedic pharmacology, medicinal plants, herbal drugs, and their therapeutic applications. The course covers identification, classification, properties, actions, processing, standardization, and clinical use of Ayurvedic medicines. Students gain detailed knowledge of Rasa (taste), Guna (properties), Virya (potency), Vipaka (post-digestive effect), Prabhava (specific action), pharmacognosy, drug research, and quality evaluation of herbal formulations.
