University of Minnesota residents receive an annual stipend based on PGY level

The Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Residency Program at the University of Minnesota Medical School is a 4-year ACGME-accredited residency providing comprehensive training in the diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with physical disabilities, musculoskeletal conditions, neurological disorders, and other functional impairments. Residents receive training across inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, pain medicine, electrodiagnostic medicine (EMG), spinal cord injury, pediatric rehabilitation, sports medicine, musculoskeletal ultrasound, and other PM&R subspecialties, along with didactic education, research, and scholarly activities. The program includes at least 12 months of acute inpatient rehabilitation and prepares residents for careers in clinical practice, academic medicine, and rehabilitation leadership.
