The PhD in Microbiology and Immunology at UNC School of Medicine (UNCSOM), Chapel Hill is a research-focused doctoral program designed to provide advanced training in microbiology, immunology, infectious diseases, and molecular biomedical sciences. The program develops independent scientists through interdisciplinary coursework, laboratory rotations, seminars, research training, and dissertation research.
