Eligibility

  • Candidates who have passed in any of the following examinations of the University of Mysore or any other recognized University/institute with a minimum of pass class in the qualifying examination are eligible to apply. B.Sc. with Physics, Mathematics, Electronics, Computer Science, Forensic Science, Speech and Hearing as a major component at B.Sc. level. B.E /B.Tech./Electronics/Computer Science/Communication. M.B.B.S. Employees working in the forensic related field in forensic laboratories would be given preference. No upper age limit is applicable.

Admission Process:

  • Candidates meeting the eligibility requirements shall be listed in order of merit which is decided based on the marks in the qualifying examination. The admissions shall be in accordance with the merit cum reservation policy of the Central Government. Selection is all India based. Candidates with experience in forensic laboratories will be given an additional weightage of 10 marks which will be added to the marks in the qualifying examination. Candidates who are short-listed based on the merit-cum-reservation will undergo an interview.
