Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Fellowship

• Must have completed a residency in Neurology, Neurological Surgery, or an Oncology Fellowship before the fellowship start date.
• Must be eligible for a California medical license prior to the July 1 program start date.

The Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Fellowship at UC Irvine School of Medicine, Irvine is a two-year advanced clinical and research fellowship that provides specialized training in the diagnosis and management of Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders, including dystonia, tremor, Huntington's disease, ataxia, and chorea. Fellows receive comprehensive multidisciplinary training through specialized outpatient clinics, inpatient consultations, deep brain stimulation (DBS) programming, botulinum toxin therapy, electrophysiological assessments, and participation in multidisciplinary care teams. The program also offers extensive opportunities in clinical trials, translational research, and academic teaching, preparing graduates for careers as movement disorders specialists, academic neurologists, and clinical researchers in the field of Parkinson's disease and movement disorders.
