Fellowship in Clinical Neuromuscular Pathology

• Clinical Neuromuscular Pathology Fellowship – UC Irvine School of Medicine
• Candidates may come from:
• Adult Neurology
• Pediatric Neurology
• Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) backgrounds.
• Must have completed a one-year Neuromuscular Medicine Fellowship or Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship before starting the program.
• Must be American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) board-eligible.
• Must obtain a California medical license before the July 1 program start date.

The Clinical Neuromuscular Pathology Fellowship at UC Irvine School of Medicine, Irvine is an advanced training program focused on the diagnosis and evaluation of neuromuscular disorders through muscle and nerve pathology. The fellowship provides specialized training in muscle and nerve biopsy interpretation, histopathological techniques, clinical-pathological correlation, and diagnosis of complex neuromuscular diseases. Fellows gain hands-on experience in pathology evaluation, diagnostic reporting, laboratory methods, and research activities, preparing them for advanced clinical and academic careers in neuromuscular medicine and pathology.
