Onsite Training in Infertility Management

This course caters to gynaecologists practising or intending to practice infertility and IVF.

Course Price of Certificate of Observership in Infertility Management is Rs 1,50,000 + 18% GST.

An onsite training for 10 days on infertility and IVF, will be available at Dr. Nagori’s Institute for Infertility and IVF, Ahmedabad, India. A maximum 3 trainees are taken at a time for personalized training. One batch is taken every month. Apart from detailed theoretical sessions, the course includes interactive sessions of live demonstrations of ultrasound and IUI, live case-to-case based discussions on the ultrasound monitoring of patients (maintaining full privacy of the patient), exposure and hands on training of the embryology laboratory work and simulator training sessions for ovum pick up and embryo transfers to achieve high levels of confidence. Personal attention from the master trainers is assured to each student. The candidate selection is on first-come-first basis.

Salient Features:

1. This is a 10-day course that covers all aspect of Infertility and IVF.
2. About 40 patients attend the clinic every day for scan, IUI, oocyte pick up, embryo transfer or consultation, giving a wide exposure to the candidates to discuss and see a variety of cases.
3. There are lecture sessions on ultrasound and clinical aspects of infertility and IVF.
4. Embryology sessions include lectures and hands on training.
5. The course also includes hands on training for oocyte pick up and embryo transfer on a simulator.
6. Interactive sessions with discussions during and after sessions are encouraged.

Course Content:

1. This course consists of demonstration of cases presenting for infertility, baseline scan, follicle monitoring and endometrial receptivity with a detailed case to case discussion on decision making in these cases.
2. Discussion on different protocols of IUI and IVF in the cases presenting.
3. Detailed explanation of the scanner settings and knobs and their practical application.
4. Demonstration of ovum pick up and embryo transfer (as per availability of cases)
5. Introduction of the andrology and embryology laboratory instruments and laboratory set up.
6. Demonstration of different semen preparation techniques.
7. Hands on semen preparation experience of different semen preparation methods.
8. Demonstration of ovum maturity assessment, ovum handling in IVF lab, demonstration of ICSI, embryo grading, embryo selection.
9. Hands on gamete handling experience in embryology laboratory.
10. Hands on ‘Simulator’ training for ovum pick up and embryo transfer.
11. Sorting out the queries related to the online course attended and everything about IUI and IVF.
