MS Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)

• Possession of an MBBS degree or a provisional MBBS pass certificate as recognised under NMC / Medical Council.
• Completion of the one-year internship (also known as compulsory rotating internship) before a specified date (as per rules).
• Valid registration certificate with the Medical Council / State Medical Council.
• Qualify NEET PG and meet the cut-off for General or reserved categories. (E.g. 50% for general, lower for reserved categories)

The MS Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) course at Adesh Medical College & Hospital is a rigorous three-year postgraduate surgical program that aims to produce ENT surgeons competent in both clinical and surgical management of ear, nose, throat, and head and neck diseases. Students undergo theoretical training, hands-on surgical exposure in operating theatres, clinical postings in outpatient and inpatient ENT wards, and emergency cases. The faculty includes experienced surgeons, and the hospital houses infrastructure such as OTs, diagnostic tools (audiology, endoscopes), imaging support, and inpatient facilities. The course adheres to norms laid down by the National Medical Commission and the affiliating University (Pt. B. D. Sharma University of Health Sciences), ensuring a standardised curriculum, periodic assessments, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Students are expected to participate in seminars, journal clubs, workshops, and research during the program. The intake is 2 seats for MS ENT at this college.

1. Complete MBBS + the one-year internship, ensuring eligibility and registration.
2. Appear for NEET PG exam.
3. Check the NEET PG results and percentile/cut-offs for your category.
4. Participate in the counselling process (state or national depending on seat quotas) for PG seats. For this college, MS ENT seats are allotted via Haryana / associated counselling.
5. Once seat is allotted, complete verification of documents (MBBS degree certificate, internship completion certificate, registration certificate, NEET PG rank card etc.).
6. Pay fees, enroll, attend orientation, begin the academic & clinical rotations.
