The MS in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) at Dr. Moopen’s Medical College, Wayanad is a three-year postgraduate surgical residency that develops expertise in diagnosing and surgically treating diseases of the ear, nose, throat, and adjacent head and neck areas. The program is part of the college’s suite of postgraduate medical courses affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). Residents rotate through clinical and surgical units where they gain hands-on experience in procedures such as mastoidectomy, tympanoplasty, septoplasty, sinus surgery, tonsillectomy, and management of head-neck tumors, while also learning about audiology, speech disorders, and emergency ENT care.
