Overview
This intensive 3-year MS program delivers hands-on training in both clinical and surgical ophthalmology:
- Rotational postings across cataract, glaucoma, retina, squint, pediatric ophthalmology, cornea, and emergency services
- Surgical exposure: extracapsular cataract extraction, phacoemulsification, trabeculectomy, squint correction, lid/ocular surface surgeries
- Training in diagnostics: slit-lamp, tonometry, perimetry, fundus imaging, OCT, and visual electrophysiology
- Academic exposure through journal clubs, seminars, case discussions, and research/thesis preparation
- Department celebrates clinical events like National Eye Donation Fortnight and collaborates in inter-departmental academic activities

Eligibility
- MBBS degree + completed internship from an NMC-recognized college
