The MS in General Surgery at AIIMS Raebareli is a comprehensive three-year postgraduate program designed to develop expertise in general surgical practice. Residents undergo training in operative and non-operative management of a wide spectrum of surgical conditions, including gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, endocrine, vascular, trauma, and minimally invasive surgeries. The curriculum integrates hands-on surgical training in the operation theatre, outpatient and inpatient wards, emergency surgery, and critical care units. Academic activities include seminars, case discussions, journal clubs, and supervised research projects.
