Overview

Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Medical College, Raipur is a renowned government medical college with a well-established Department of Pulmonary Medicine (also titled TB & Chest Department). The department provides advanced training in both communicable and non-communicable respiratory diseases, including tuberculosis management, diagnostic procedures like bronchoscopy, lung function tests, critical care of respiratory failure, pleural disease, sleep-related breathing disorders, etc. There is good patient inflow with varied case profiles which allows hands-on clinical exposure. The course includes both theory and practical components, including research / thesis work, seminars, case discussions and rounds. At JNMC, total tuition fees are modest (₹60,000 for the full 3-year course) plus hostel and admission one-time fees.The intake for this course is 3 seats.

Eligibility

• MBBS degree from an institution recognised by NMC. 
• Completion of compulsory internship. 
• Valid registration (permanent or provisional) with the Medical Council / NMC. 
• Qualify in NEET-PG examination and meet required cutoff / percentile for category (General / OBC / SC / ST / PWD), both for All India Quota / State Quota as applicable.
