Overview

The MD – Pharmacology program at TSRMMCHRC is a three‑year postgraduate medical degree that builds expert knowledge in the science of drugs and therapeutics. The curriculum covers fundamental and advanced topics such as pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, toxicology, clinical pharmacology, drug development, receptor pharmacology, and individualized medicine. Students also learn about drug interactions, adverse drug reactions, and principles of rational drug prescribing. Eligibility

  1. Completed MBBS from a recognised medical institution.
  2. Completed or expected to complete the compulsory rotating internship before the deadline specified by the NMC.
  3. Qualified NEET‑PG with the required percentile as per NMC guidelines for the year.
  4. Valid MBBS registration certificate (provisional or permanent) with the Medical Council.

Admission Process:

  1. Qualify NEET‑PG: Appear and secure a valid score in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Postgraduate.
  2. Register for counselling: Through MCC for All India Quota and/or State Medical Counselling Authority for State Quota.
  3. Choice filling: Select MD – Pharmacology at Trichy SRM Medical College during the counselling process.
  4. Seat allotment: Seats are allotted based on NEET‑PG rank, category, and availability.
  5. Document verification: Present original documents (NEET‑PG scorecard, MBBS degree, internship certificate, registration, identity proof, etc.) for verification.
  6. Fee payment & admission confirmation: Pay fees to confirm the admission.
