MD Pharmacology

1. MBBS degree from an institute recognized by the NMC.
2. Completion of the compulsory rotating internship before joining.
3. Valid NEET-PG score qualifying the candidate for counselling.
4. Registration (or eligibility for registration) with the Medical Council/State Medical Council.
5. Valid category certificates for reserved category applicants.

The MD – Pharmacology course at Arunai Medical College and Hospital is a rigorous three-year postgraduate programme designed to develop deep expertise in drug science and therapeutics. Through an integrated curriculum, students acquire comprehensive knowledge of pharmacodynamics, pharmacokinetics, clinical pharmacology, toxicology, and drug development. The department emphasizes research, evidence-based drug prescribing, and safety monitoring through pharmacovigilance activities. Practical training includes seminars, journal clubs, laboratory techniques, and analysis of adverse drug reactions. 2. Counselling Registration: Register for state or national counselling based on quota and eligibility.
3. Choice Filling & Seat Allotment: Select preferred colleges and courses; seats are allotted based on merit and counselling rules.
4. Document Verification: Attend document verification with original certificates (MBBS degree, internship completion, NEET-PG score, etc.).
5. Fee Payment & Seat Confirmation: Pay fees as per quota to confirm the seat.
6. College Reporting: Report to Arunai Medical College on the scheduled date to begin the programme.
