A candidate who has selected for admission to a postgraduate degree shall possess MBBS degree or equivalent qualifications as specified by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

About Course

MD in Pharmacology at Teerthanker Mahaveer University is a three-year postgraduate degree that helps students gain fundamental knowledge of biological effects along with therapeutic and chemical uses of drugs. The programme aims to train students, enabling them to scrutinise the impact of drugs. The programme introduces two critical topics such as pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics to the students at an early stage so that they can gain a comprehensive picture of the usage and safety actions required for drugs and medication. It also describes the effects of biologically active chemicals and explores drugs causes and biological effects along with their molecular mechanisms.
