MD Pediatrics

1. MBBS qualification recognized by the National Medical Commission
2. Completion of compulsory rotating internship on or before the prescribed cutoff date
3. Valid NEET-PG qualification for the respective admission year
4. Permanent or provisional medical registration certificate
5. Fulfilment of counselling authority and institutional admission requirements

The MD – Paediatrics programme at Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital is designed to provide in-depth training in child health and pediatric medicine. Over three years, postgraduate students gain extensive exposure to neonatal care, pediatric wards, outpatient services, immunization programs, and emergency pediatric management. The teaching hospital offers a consistent patient load, allowing residents to develop strong clinical and diagnostic skills under experienced faculty guidance. 1. Appear for and qualify NEET-PG conducted by the National Board of Examinations
2. Register for postgraduate counselling through the designated authority (CENTAC Puducherry / relevant counselling body)
3. Participate in choice filling and locking for MD – Paediatrics
4. Seat allotment based on NEET-PG rank, category, and seat availability
5. Attend document verification with original certificates
6. Pay the prescribed fees to confirm admission
7. Report to the college and complete the joining formalities
