MD Pathology

1. Recognized MBBS degree with completion of internship.

The MD in Pathology at MIMER Pune is a full-time three-year postgraduate medical degree aimed at training doctors in the scientific foundations and clinical applications of pathology. The department provides systematic teaching and hands-on experience in major pathology domains such as histopathology, cytology, hematology, clinical pathology, and transfusion medicine, enhancing diagnostic skills crucial to patient care. The curriculum is aligned with MUHS and NMC standards, integrating classroom lectures, laboratory training, case discussions, and research projects to build expertise in disease mechanisms, laboratory diagnostics, and clinical correlations. 1. Qualify NEET PG conducted by the National Board of Examinations.
2. Register for counseling under the State Common Entrance Test Cell (Maharashtra) or All India Quota, as applicable.

4. Choice filling/ locking of preferred colleges and courses.
5. Seat allotment based on NEET PG rank, category, and choices.
6. Reporting to MIMER Pune with allotment letter and payment of applicable fees within prescribed dates.
7. Commencement of academic session as per MUHS and institute schedule.
